Scroll down to read about some of the amazing volunteers we have here at the foundation. We appreciate each and every one of you!
Janice Campbell- Ford is a family friend of the Lorettes. She has volunteered at allergy awareness and educational booths at the SJRH as well as at many local schools. Her favourite part about volunteering for the foundation is how rewarding it is to support friends and educate the community we live in.
Stacy Blois started volunteering with the foundation after she recognized how much of a worthy endeavour it was. Having a child with a peanut allergy herself, she often felt anxious and being part of the foundation interested her as it helped her educate others about allergies. She had volunteered at the Sweet Caroline Run, the KVHS student education session and multiple daycare education sessions. Her favourite part about volunteering with the foundation is getting to be part of a team that keeps Caroline’s memory alive through allergy education.
Michelle first started volunteering with the foundation after she was asked to lead the runners on the 10k route at the first Sweet Caroline Foundation Run in October of 2014, which she continued to do for the next 4 years. Her favourite part about volunteering for the foundation is seeing a community rally behind a family with support and creating awareness around allergies and anaphylaxis.
Isabella started volunteering with the Foundation following its humble beginnings in 2014. Being a close friend of Caroline’s, she’s seen first-hand the importance of allergy awareness and education. This sparked a passion for allergy awareness. Some volunteer work she has done includes, but is not limited to, volunteering at the Amazatorium booth, at Rothesay High educational booths and programs and at the annual Sweet Caroline Run. Her favourite part about working with the Foundation is hearing all the amazing stories of how the work of the Sweet Caroline Foundation has changed others’ lives, and the ability to bring some sort of comfort to those who continue to live with allergies.
